Tips for Machine Maintenance
RUIZHOU CNC cutting machine is one type of precise electronically equipment. Regular and preventative maintenance is not only the basic for keeping machine in good condition, but also the daily responsibility of operators.
Because of daily use and dust adhesion, cutting machine will appear depreciation and working errors which caused by status changes of spare parts in the process of using. Such as looseness, resonance, abrasion, corrosion, etc. These are main factors which result in machine faults.
These faults should be solved in time to avoid machine's premature depreciation and even stop working.
Therefore, it is important for operators to maintain machine, solve problems and improve machine's working conditions.
1.CNC Cutting Machine's Regular Maintenance
According to machine's working status, Three types of inspection are advised.
1.1 Daily inspection
(1) Check machine's external condition. keep all parts clean and confirm no sundries will affect the heat dissipation and operation of machine. Sundries can be removed by scotch tape, dust cleaner, brush or pneumatic gun.
(2) Check machine's signal and instruments. Ensure signal is clear, instrument and touch screen are sensitive and reliable.
(3) Check whether there is lubricant on the surface of horizontal and vertical guide rail. Keep guide rails smooth.
(4) Check whether infrared sensor devices on machine's beams are working well. And check cutting head's cables and pneumatic tubes are connected well. Snarls and breakage are forbidden.
(5) Clean up dust and sundries on guide rail sliders and racks. Use pneumatic gun to remove sundries. Checking whether slider rail and rack rail are connected and fixed well. Operator should inform manufacturer immediately if any looseness, breakage or abnormal conditions occur.
(6) Check whether cables, cable clamps and tow are connected well respectively. Wrap, extrusion, damage or other abnormal conditions are forbidden. Cables are not allowed to drag outside protective box.
(7) Check air pump and mouths of exhaust pipes to see if there's any sundries block them or being absorbed, and clean sundries in time.
(8) Check whether emergence stop devices at machine's four corners and panels are working well.
(9) Ensure working sound of every spare parts are normal. And find out reasons for any abnormal conditions, deal with and record these conditions in time.
1.2 Weekly inspection
(1) A complete clean for cutting machine is necessary. Clean and add anti-rust lubricant to horizontal and vertical guide rails.(Special lubricant for gear racks.) And add lubricant grease to relevant lubricating points. As shown in picture1 & Picture2.
(2) Clean and add special lubricant to cutting knife holder, rails and gear racks on machine's beams. As shown in picture3 & Picture4.
(3) Check whether spare parts of pneumatic system and vacuum pump system are complete. Any abnormal conditions, such as air leakage and blockage, should be solved in time. Clean up machine case thoroughly. Open baffles in front of exhaust vents, then clean dust and sundries by pneumatic gun. Attention: Turn off power before cleaning. As shown in picture5.
(4) Check circuit and cables with electrician.
(5) Check temperature of motor and transmission parts. The operator should identify
causes for over temperature and deal with it.
1.3 Monthly inspection
(1) Unscrew countersunk screw by hexagon wrench, then add special heat resisting lubricant to oscillating knife. Adding point as shown in following picture.
(2) Check electric cabinet to keep it clean and tidy. Ensure its'lines are tight, which accords with explosion-proof and undamaged requirements.
(3) Check whether any breakage on cables. Wiring and outlet should all accord with relevant requirements.
(4) Check straight linear guide and add lubricant grease when necessary.
(5) After checking, test cutting machine according to operating manual. After passing the test, turn off the machine and power and finish maintenance.
